I took the kiddos to Jones Orchard for the first ever strawberry picking for me and them. The boys were excited and Julianna just wanted to get out and run. And that is just what she did, she ran into a big puddle of mud. This happened right after we got there and I did not want to walk all the way back to the car to change her clothes so I just wiped her face and let her be, I know I'm a horrible mother. She did not like it at first because she hates being dirty, she is such a girly girl I know, but she got over it and started picking strawberries. Noah and Eli had a blast and they picked 11 lbs, yep you read that right, 11 lbs of strawberries. Most of them we ate and I made chocolate covered strawberries one night that were so yummy. I had to throw several of them away because they were not that great, the boys tried to get mostly red ones but some of them were a little rotten. Oh well they tried and had fun doing it. I think this will become a family tradition every summer.
